Neighborhood Safety Walks

Neighborhood safety walks help maintain and improve public safety in the community by increasing the visibility of neighbors, helping to connect neighbors from different blocks, and helping neighbors to work with the police and other city agencies to identify and problem-solve around specific concerns. These walks are most effective when they are organized with various city agencies, such as housing and public works, in addition to the police. 

The following neighborhoods currently have active and regular neighborhood safety walks. Many of these groups suspend their walking schedule for the winter-time.
